Getting Ready to Charter

I am looking for a steward/stewardess/host/hostess to work on a medium sized motor yacht (55"). I will be refitting it top-to bottom this summer, and would mind input for the interior decoration. There are four skills that are paramount:

1. Friendly, friendly, FRIENDLY... But not to friendly if you know what I mean.
2. Meticulous - Keeping the boat wonderful for customers.
3. Gourmet - A great cook for our customers. The menus will be customer driven.
4. Adventurous - This'll be a full service charter. The destinations will be customer driven.

What's in it for you? You will receive free accommodations and food while chartering. You will also get all customer tips which can be $1200 per week or more. The actual wage is negotiable.

The faster we grow the business the faster this will become full time.

Re: Getting Ready to Charter

My friend and I are interested in crewing. We are 19, professional, attentive, easy going, funny, clean cut, personable and hard working. We also work extremely well under pressure and harsh conditions. Neither of us drink or smoke. I have no sailing experience, but plenty of exposure to the ocean and boats (lived in SE Alaska, fishing experience as well) while my friend has almost 2 years of sailing as a live aboard and countless day sails.

Our interests/skills include customer relations/service, hiking, backpacking, photography, fishing, kayaking, diving, climbing, and anything else outdoors. We are very flexible and accustomed to the unexpected.
