Hello shipmates..
I am looking to help crew a vessel heading to
Brazil from
Europe in late December/early January.
I've no idea how I'm going to get my first leg to the Canaries/Cape Verde's organised, that's why I'm here... trying to find a forum or.. people that know people..
...I NEED YOUR HELP.. or
advice.. any would be gratefully received!
Basically, I've had it with flying.. and it goes against my ideals... I'm on a mission to save CO2 and promote sailing as a viable (..and MUCH more fulfilling) method of getting around... AND, I'm raising funds for climate change
research and alternatives to flying.
I've had many years sailing experience off and on - my Dad's Snowgoose
catamaran mostly.. when I was a younger.
Also, I'm looking to serve a long-term need for travel to and from
Brazil for teaching and social
work.
Other than that, I always get on well with most people... I can cook... I cope well with pressure and stressful situations. I don't get easily upset or loose it. I learn fast, am flexible and willing to try new things, and can be depended on... I'll even clean the barnicals if I get a chance to make this happen!
If anyone knows anyone, it would be great to talk or come and say hello.
Please message me with any thoughts you can give.. is the message ok?
Warmest and best,
James
