Detroit to Toronto via Welland Canal

Married couple in 60s seeking 2 crew or couples to assist with transit, especially line handling through the Welland Canal. 2 private staterooms available with shared head. Non-smoking boat with social drinking. Expect to leave Detroit September 2 and arrive in Toronto September 6 or 7. Direct Via (Canadian Amtrak) rail service available from Toronto to Windsor CA with bus service to Detroit. Must have valid passport. Experience not required (we'll teach you) but physical ability for line handling through the Welland Canal is required along with personable demeanor. Boat is a 45 foot Jeanneau sloop with usual cruising equipment. On board expense paid, but transport to/from boat and shore expenses on your account. A few nights on-board in Toronto after passage possible. Text Alan at seven three four seven four zero one two five six.

Re: Detroit to Toronto via Welland Canal

Hi,

My name is Matt. I grew up sailing and just recently (this past May) received my ASA 101, 103, 104, and 114. I'm looking to gain more experience. If you're still looking for crew for your trip please let me know.

Thanks, Matt

Oh man if this was a couple weeks earlier I would have been all-in!

Happy (and safe) sailing!
