I'll add that its is nor realistic to think that a professional captain would do this delivery for less than $350 per day. If one did I would question his experience. Deckhand get 100-200 a day. You are not being realistic. -N

DOJ brings up a really good point. Are you planning to notify the delivery skipper's tax authorities that you paid him the $100/day??

Most deliveries are for private owners who can't write off expenses on their boats, so its usually a cash deal and neither the owner or the skipper reports the money.

Note to self: Look up the bigger delivery companies based in the US and turn them in to the IRS for 10% of what they recover...

This forum has denigrated dramatically. People get off on jabbing, throwing barbs, putting other people down, humiliating others. It's getting tough to weed though all the crap to get to any salient points.
