Noticed your boat is a Catalina 30. It is getting pretty late in the season to start a trip south with a new untested boat. Expect to pay anywhere from $250.00 to $350.00 per day for a Captain. That includes all weather delays, breakdowns, etc. Then you will also have to pay for his food and transportation back home. It won't be cheap.

You should try Tony Sanpere . He just helped me with moving my 76 year old cutter from Onset Mass. to Cobb Island Maryland . Did a great job . Good sailor & a fun trip .
