Daysails - LA Harbor

Looking for interested sailors in the LA area to help me take my Hunter 42 out for a daysail on New Year's day. It is berthed at CYM Wilmington, which is about a 35 minute sail to the Harbor entrance. If you're interested, but New Year's day does not work, I may have additional crewing opportunities in 2014.

Re: Daysails - LA Harbor

Hello there,
New to sailing & just finished my ASA 101 class. I've been chartering a Harbor20 out of NewportBCH every week that I'm home for a day or two and would like the opportunity to learn some new skills. I learn fast and due to my job have every other week off. If interested, please let me know about any crewing oppurtunities for 2014. Thanks

Steve Pratt

Re: Daysails - LA Harbor

Hello. I'm based out of Huntington Beach and love the ocean. I've been surfing and fishing as much as possible and want to sail more. If you need a partner to hit the sea, I have a flexible schedule and am looking to get out. Let's go day sailing and have some fun!

Re: Daysails - LA Harbor

I live in Phoenix and just purchased a 21 foot sailboat to learn how to sail. I've been out only a few times, but realize that I have a lot to learn and I am looking for crewing opportunities as that seems to be a very good way to pick up knowledge and experience; I am very eager to learn. I have not taken any of the ASA courses yet, but I intend to soon. I'm generally easy to get along with (have a good sense of humor), I am more than willing to take directions and I'm always happy to bring along food and beverages to share!

If you ever need crew, let me know and I'll see if I can make it.

Tim.
