Currently in Ft. Lauderdale

Hello,
My name is James C Correu.

The maritime qualifications I possess are the STCW BST, MCA AEC, TWIC, and USCG MMD. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, as well as 2 years as a physics major.

Throughout my life I have spent time on motor and sail boats for pleasure. Recently I have worked on large yachts in both deck and engineering capacities. I have done a bit of sailing, including a race where we were hit by 2 squalls.

Having a desire to know how to do many things, I have extensive mechanical, technical, electrical, and wood-working experience. The computer related work I have performed is far-reaching in scope.

My goals are to become competent in a range of duties, to make a career of the sea. I look forward to ocean crossings, and visiting ports around the world.

I am a capable learner, a man with a good work-ethic, the desire to do a variety of tasks, and a willingness to help others on board. I will make a good addition to any crew.

I am currently in Ft Lauderdale.

Are you in need of a paid position or just looking to have some fun?

Both
Paid positions are my goal, obviously. While searching for that I am looking for experience builders that can keep me going and make me more marketable. At this time this means the least I can accept is that my expenses are covered, i.e., travel, food, and a bunk.
