Re: Curious about cost

Hey,

I'd deliver her to Ensenada for $2,500 plus expenses (flights, food, fuel). Email me at southernocean@juno.com if you're interested.

Cheers,

Capt. Ryan Langley

Re: Curious about cost

Though this is crew wanted I think you are asking question, yes?

I remember it being $4.00 A mile for licensed captain plus expenses. But my info my be dated.
You may want to post this in dollars and cents section if you are trying to get the fair market price.
Cheers,

My 2 Cents:

Have them give you a one page resume'
Fax you a copy of their Masters Ticket (currently it looks like a passport but Red) A six pack should be OK but only have a one page certificate.

Cheap is NOT always the least expensive!!

Re: Curious about cost

Dont forget---References, references, references!!!!! A lot of six packs out there. I had a six pack at 28 years old, kinda easy to get ( My 2cents ). But references are not so easy to get and be sure to follow through and check them out. One boat I was crewing on, we picked up a crew who was supposed to have a six pack, my captain had a hard time getting through to all but one of his refences. He was a bad pick for crew, I doubt he had ever even been offshore. It made for a long two weeks in the Atlantic.

Sorry for the lecture, just voice of experience.
Good luck, love the SeaRunners, have fun on her.
