Cruising in New York

I own a 30ft O’Day sloop in Brooklyn, New York and I am looking for avid sailors who would like to cruise around in the area.

I am also planning to sail up to Cape Cod August 1rst and return August 21. Anybody interested to come on board as crew?

Re: Cruising in New York

Good morning 4 years sailing in and around Kingston,NY on the Hudson, Lake Champlain, lake George, and the Sacandage lake. I own a Pearson 30 witch I'm up grading with some new parts, so see it dry dock and my feet are not getting wet. Plan on a trip toward fall to Chesapeake Bay area. So I'm looking for time and to learn about the New York area and to add it to my log book.

Re: Cruising in New York

Hello,

I live in New Jersey about 20 minutes from Manhattan. I would love to volunteer as a deck hand. I've worked on a 45ft yacht many years ago. I'm looking into getting my captains licenses. So anytime on the water would be beneficial and great fun. Most off my experience comes from cruising around on small water craft in the bay of South Jersey. I currently work as a Train Dispatcher. I work nights so I'm available weekday mornings, nights and weekends. You can e-mail me at bobbymail68@yahoo.com

Hello,
I'll be in the Brooklyn area from June 18-26th. I live in Maryland but I'm a comedian so I need the stage time. That is why I'm in town. I would love to sail around NYC! I've been sailing over a year and have done many overnights in the Chesapeake Bay area.
