Don't forget to get familiar with supplementary Pilot Guide from Royal Cruising Club Pilot Foundation at: North West Passage. Your choice of heading East might the winner as in past two years it was much easier. 2016 appears to be more relaxed with some problems as usual at Victoria Str. , James Ross and Larsen. Will dig for some that want to join the NWP only.

Cheers,
As you are in Chesapeake, you can contact Matt Rutherford for any details. He is well known around Annapolis. Piloted him around Americas, NWP & Horn.
We are good buddies. Cheers.

Howdy from WA USA, sounds like you're doing one hell of a trip! I did sailing in college, and have helped out on a few boats in WA. My girlfriend and I will be in Iceland sometime over the summer, kicking off an indefinite Eurotrip, and would love to join you as crew as far and for whichever legs you're willing to take us!
