dudes.. do you guys even own boats, heard of the ICW,?? watch the forcasts, dont be at sea if hurricane comeing.

Dude. Yes I own a boat and have sailed it and others to the Bahamas various times. Yes I watch the forecasts and as far as hurricanes are concerned you are pretty much screwed if one hits you while you are in the Bahamas. Your ICW comment makes me wonder about your own experience. The ICW is pretty far from most of the Bahamas - and across the Gulf Stream from all of them. Best advice - Dont go during hurricane season. But hey, go for it if you like. You might well be lucky.
