Crew Available: Crew member - looking to sail across pacific to Peru from Aus/NZ

Hey there, I am Matt, a 20 year old English backpacker looking to sail from either Australia's East coast or New Zealand to Peru, South America and get there in early August to meet family out there on holiday.
I have previous sailing experience and can be a competent crew hand. I am open to any form of vessel whether it's a Yacht or a Motor cruiser.

Ah Damn, do you know when the seas start getting rough around there? reluctant to do so but I may just have to pay an arm and a leg to fly it

the few boats that head that way normally leave nz around nov to be nr cape horn dec jan.
boats leaving nz now in april will be heading for vanuatu,fiji or maybe tahiti
