Crew Available: Couple Looking for Miles

Hello,

We are a hardworking and easy-going 40 year old couple who are seeking unpaid crewing opportunities this October in order to get miles for a Yachtmaster Offshore ticket as we are in the midst of a rather dramatic career change. We both have STCW'95 and Yachtmaster Coastal certification and have done some offshore sailing as well. If you have a need help on a voyage this October, we would love to hear from you. isn't Mark looking for crew to do an Altantic crossing East to West? That would certainly give you the miles for YM. He put a post on here which might be worth reading.

Sign up on the crew list for the Carribean 1500 (carib1500.com). This rally leaves Hampton Virginia for Tortol, BVI on November first. There will be about 75 boats this year, almost all will be looking for volunteer crew. Experiencd younger people are at a preminum. You can aalso see a list of the boats signed up on the web site. My boat is on the list, Special Delivery. I will need three more crew if my boat hasn't sold by then.

I have a 440 Lagoon catamaran in Split, Croatia and heading south to Turkey for winterisation. I need two crew to handle as I the previous couple have just returned home.

Issue is I need to leave in the next week
