Chicago down ten-tomm to gulf

I am sailing down to the gulf in october, looking to escape winter, it's a 24ft boat, i only need 1 person. Preferably a female. So we can take shifts. I sailed out the erie canal last fall and down to key west for winter. Crew does not need sailing experence. tell me about you?

Hi sailor! First I like a good meal so I hope your provisions are up to par. Second- 24' sounds a little tight but I can keep you warm in the winter and give you shade in the summer.

Do you have one of those tiny Jabsco toilets? That could be a problem....

I'am a retired construction equipment mechanic so any time is fine. I have several hundred miles of cruising on the the upper Mississippi. No time on the IL. river, fewer marinas, it's been described to me by others as a ditch with tows on it. I keep my boat at umr mm283, if you want to talk pm me with contact info. Good luck

I'am not in Chicago but can get there, I'am interested in going. I would want to check out your boat to make sure that it's properly equipped. If you want to see if we can make the trip with out problems you can come down to my boat we'll take a cruise for a few days. I'am near Louisiana, Mo. on the IL. side of the Miss. probably about 300 miles to Chicago.
