Re: Chesapeake Bay Day/Overnight Sailing

Dave - I'd welcome the opportunity to crew with you. I'm in Richmond, taken 3 ASA courses, ex-Navy officer, done a lot of weekend sailing in Deltaville/Fishing Bay and one offshore trip Charleston to Ft. Lauderdale. Trying to get more experience before getting my own boat after I finish paying tuitions...

I'm also a CS Forester fan, judging by your handle/name.

Re: Chesapeake Bay Day/Overnight Sailing

Dave,
I live up in Stafford and would like to have a chance to crew for you. I am a retired Navy Surface Warfare Officer and taught at the Naval Academy, I had a sailing Offshore Skipper 'D' Qualification back in 1989, but haven't done any sailing since. I am looking to get back into sailing.

Fair Winds and Following Seas,

Gary

Re: Chesapeake Bay Day/Overnight Sailing

Dave,

I have a bareboat chartering license and most of my experience is ocean sailing around the Florida/Georgia area, however spent some time on the ICW. I live about 4 hours aways from the Baltimore area, however I do travel in often for business. I am 28 and love to get out on the water. My wife and I are actually chartering a sailboat on the Bay this coming Sunday. Would love to meet some sailors in the area and get some time on the water, at this point, mostly Sundays but potentially during the week for a 2 day trip.

Thanks, Max
