Crew Available: Chasing a dream!! need your help :)

Hello all
I'm new to sailing and would like to crew in the Port Angeles, WA area. I've been on the water numerous times. While I was in GS I went canoeing. I went sailing in December and loved it.

If you go to sailing clubs in the area on weekends, you can ask to help out. If you have a friend who sails, now, maybe he or she can get you on as beginning crew.

What skippers want is someone who is reliable, cheerful and easy to get along with, someone who offers to help out with everything, and is trainable. Do not expect to be on the helm or doing spinnaker trim on your first few sails, you will have to prove yourself and learn more, first. Try and find a skipper who encourages crew to do everything. You may have to buy your own lifejacket, Sospenders, or the like, suitable for your cold waters.
