Crew Wanted: Caribbean Extended Cruising

Greetings,

My husband and I are recently retired and have been cruising on our 60' Ocean Trawler since February of this year. We have so far visited Cancun, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and are now in Aruba waiting out hurricane season.

We love the cruising lifestyle, but have found that maintaining the boat in "ship shape" condition requires a great deal more time than we had anticipated. Would like to find the right person/couple to live aboard as crew to assist with maintenance and operation of the vessel.

Our current plan is to depart Aruba for Puerto Rico at the end of Novemer. Month of December will be spent in PR and the Spanish Virgins and then on to the US and British Virgins for several weeks. Antigua in early March and then continue on down the Eastern chain and back to Aruba the end of June. From there, our tentative plan is to visit Colombia and Panama during hurricane season, and then make our way slowly up the Western Caribbean.

Ideal candidate(s) would have some mechanical aptitude; experience not as important as the willingness to learn new things.

We would cover all meals and governement fees, cost of operating the vessel and a monthly stipend.
