Captain / Instructor - Victoria, BC to San Francisco in September

Looking to move my boat down south this fall and would like to hire a Capt that would not mind sharing their experience on the way down with a crew of variable experience. Looking at about 6 or seven days to San Fran and some pre-departure stuff. Out of town right now with no phone and slow internet so may take a day or so to get back to you.

Boat is in great shape and completed Baja-Hawaii-Victoria just last spring.

PM me if you are interested. If conditions are right may look at extending to San Diego right after San Fran.

Re: Captain / Instrutor - Victoria, BC to San Francisco in September

Hi. We have a beneteau first 36.7 we want to move to Puerto Vallarta with us. One option is to sail from Vancouver, the other is to truck to San Diego and sail from there. Either of these of interest?
I just posted in this forum under 'San Diego to Puerto Vallarta'.
Willing to look at options.

Re: Captain / Instrutor - Victoria, BC to San Francisco in September

Hello John,
The time frame is what will determine the method.
Before Sept 15th you could sail her on her own bottom.
Trucking I wouldn't the costs would be a lot higher and derigging and re rigging.
We are taking a 38 Caliber on the 8th to SF.
If we could leave Aug 28th we could do it to SF or SD depending on the sailing.
We are interested.
You can send me a PM for my email address.
Thanks Dan
