NAUTICAL EXPERIENCE:
Two transatlantic crossings:
1st - Casablanca, Morocco to Pointe-ŕ-Pître, Guadeloupe as owner/captain of La Vita Bruta, (a brand new 41 ft. sloop (Jeanneau Sun Fizz) participated in the La Transat des Alizés, a purist race (no engine propulsion). Placed fourth out of 21 participants in the same class.
2nd - Juan-les-Pins, France to Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands as owner/captain of the Aventura, a 45 ft. ketch (Dufour 12000CT motor sailor).
Sailing in different parts of the world: Greece, Turkey, Corsica, Northern Mediterranean, Balearic Islands, North Atlantic, Morocco, Canary Islands, Bermuda, California, Florida, Lake Champlain, Canada, Australia, Venezuela, Cuba and ALL Caribbean islands including the Virgin Islands and the ABC islands.
Involvement in the international nautical community sports fishing, racing, caretaking, refitting, and delivering ocean going vessels both sail and power.
More than 30 years of blue water off-shore cruising.
