Bundaberg to Adelaide

Anyone interested to crew on a yacht in first week of 2014
Bundaberg to Adelaide , or possibly a leg along the way, say Eden to Portland.
Non paying but you can get some time and experience up.
Possible help with some transport.
Staple food provided.

Re: Bundaberg to Adelaide

Hello,
My name is Russ Swan (lowana4 on this forum). I am 64 yrs, healthy and I believe reasonably fit. Have 13 years plus experience in owning/skippering and crewing on yachts. Last major trip was as crew from Turkey to Oman. Have sailed Oz coastline from Fremantle - Darwin - Bundaberg. Looking to sail the rest of the way and probably be happy to sail Bundy to Adelaide. Happy to contribute a little to costs. What do you mean by "help with some transport"? Regards.

Re: Bundaberg to Adelaide

Tom,
Called on above phone number - nil answer - left message.
No phone messages received this end. My phone Mobl: 0402 081 682 or email: rwswan@bigpond.net.au
I can be available in Bundaberg prior to 7/01/14 to help prepare for trip.
Do you want me to contribute funds and if so, how much would you be expecting?
Also a little detail about your boat please? e.g. how old and in what sort of condition is she?
Cheers,
Russ Swan

Hi Aur.

I'd be keen to join you on your trip. I'm a 28 yo environmental engineer and novice sailor, I've just completed a comp crew course and am keen to build some more experience. I work a shift roster job and have 2 weeks off from the 8th of January.

Cheers Sam.
