Re: AUSTRALIAN CREW AVAILABLE

Hello you sound like an interesting person. I've just joined and posted in the newcomers section. I just did my MROCP and joined the Caloundra Coast guard.
I too dream of crewing or owning a yacht one day. Good luck with your request.
Have fun.
Rossy

Re: AUSTRALIAN CREW AVAILABLE

Going from St Lucia through canal and up to Victoria (Canada not OZ!) leaving early March. Expect to be in Panama mid March. Male, married (but partner is not coming) late 50's, RYA Yachmaster, sailed from UK plus 20yrs European exp. Voya is a classic 32ft cutter refitted for expedition sailing, very seaworthy but typical classic so mot much space and limited tankage. Pic's on my profile. If you are interested email me at roland.stockham@gmail.com

Re: AUSTRALIAN CREW AVAILABLE

Hi Roland, I am not sure where I will be early March. I was hoping to pick up a boat that required crew "now" but perhaps you could contact me again nearer the time or if I get a crew position I could let you know when it is finishing and we can see if we coincide. Christine

Re: AUSTRALIAN CREW AVAILABLE

Hi

If you want to do some boat sitting Voya is currently in St Lucia, you could move on board and look after her. If you have the experience and/or could find crew you could possibly do some local sailing but we would need to discuss that further.
Crew are on-board now till about the end of this month and could show you round the boat

Re: AUSTRALIAN CREW AVAILABLE

Hello Peartree,I just found your details on the cruising forum.

We are looking for an experienced crew to help a friend sail from Newcastle NSW to Adelaide SA.
The 12.5 M steel ketch is ready now in Newcastle.
The yacht has just sailed south from Bundaberg.
His assistant was an eager back packer and has to leave the country shortly,
He realised he had to see a few sights before this.

The skipper is very experienced and has a relaxed attitude.
He has completed 2 circumnavigations and very many other navigations

Please contact me back either way,I will give more details if interested.
Regards, Tom 0428892036
