If you have e-mail capability underway, please let us know your progress periodically. I would love to join you but will be busy putting my FP Belize 43 back in the water in Puerto Rico for the upcoming cruising season.

Re: Atlantic crossing early Dec

I wish to thank all that have offered to come across with us.
I received far more reply than I anticipated from this forum and several from the World Cruising forum, so I wish to apologise if I have not replied to all personally.

I was only looking for two crew, got the first on day one and have been holding on for the second for a while as I had so many capable persons writing, but now I wish to close this thread as I am discussing privately with the others.

This is a great community, us "Cruisers", I am sure that we will meet sometimes somewhere, make sure you call in to say 'hello' and we will have a glass of wine together (I do drink when at anchor..........)

Re: Atlantic Crossing Early Dec

Ahoy Stefano,
we are a "competent crew" quite well traveled adventurous couple (Petr 34, Katerina 36).
We are both from Czech Republic, living 6 years in Ireland where we started with sailing.
I am civil engineering technician and commercial diver and Katerina is a teacher for special needs and disabled children.
After previous 2 years of intensive traveling we have decided to follow our dreams and change the lifestyle .. keep traveling .. = sailing ...
So, I am just about to upgrade my competent crew level up to yachtmaster, but before I do so, I would love to gain a bit more miles and experience.
We are independent, responsible and very adaptable characters with BIG sense of humor ..
This is why we are responding to your offer, which just caught our eyes and made us excited about it.

Anyway, in case of only one person needed for the trip, I would be very pleased to join you even without Katerina, as we are reasonable and agreed on this possibility without time limits.

Thank you for considering us/me as an option and wish you great sailing ..

With regards
Petr
