Crew Available: Aruba to Anchorage

Anybody In Aruba who could take me out to a tanker anchored offshore and pick me up a day later? It is about 10km off the land. I have to make a pre-purchase inspection. Please send me phone number and email.

Sounds sketchy. Be careful dropping of and picking up someone from a ship in international waters that could set off some red flags. You would have Coast Guard all over you in the US. Make sure there are no suspicious packages involved.

Load of rubbish. All over the world people join and leave ships at anchor, even in the US.

I think in the US if you are in contact with a ship in international waters you must check in with customs when returning. I am sorry my metric conversion was off, 10km would be inside international line.

The thing here is that the launch fees in Aruba are very high. To rent the pilot boat to go a mile out and drop you off then pick you up and return to the shore a few hours later on a normal day costs $1620 but on a holiday they charge double. The other launches charge 50% more.
The job I was going to do was cancelled because the boat charges were just too high. If I had my boat in Aruba I would have had no problems.
