Crew Wanted: Any Aussies Interested in Sailing from Oz to India

Looking for 3 Bluewater sailors in Australia willing to pitch in $ to rent or charter or inspire a yacht owner with a yacht 35' or less to sail to India leaving Darwin mid-Nov.
I have a little under 10,000 bluewater miles and have sailed across the entire pacific ocean from Los angeles, CA to Siesia Australia.
Looking for a collective effort from 3 very experiences sailors. I would be willing to put in $2,000 AUD. I am 28 years old, non-drinker, non-smoker,

I'm gonna be in Brisbane on Saterday and then staying on the gold coast
(southport for 2 months) contact me via e-mail please.
If your serious its gonna be a lenghthy process in aquiring a boat, making sure its sound in everything, rigging, hull, steering, rudder, training, going on a shake-down trip before depature. If you work a 9-5 job 6 days a week, its not gonna work, i need a committed band of blue-water sailors willing to inspect and go thru the process of boat hunting and aquiring an offshore boat and sailing together on a weekly basis.

Boatman61 is currently headed for AussiLand, this may be an easier way home for him than air fares. A pleasant delivery skipper who always gets the boat there, the sort that might come in handy. He will be skipper, and his word is law when it comes to seamanship.
He's out of contact for a couple of weeks en-route. Just an idea.

you might want to check out when the cyclone season begins in darwin before leaving in november!
and a budget of $20,000 per head would be more realistic than $2000 ifyou want to buy a boat!

might want to have a look at the pilot chart for indian ocean for november!
you will notice that not only is there is a very high incidence of severe cyclones in both north and south indian ocean,but for most of the route the wind is in the wrong direction!
april might be a better choice for departure!

Have you considered crewing on a yacht heading that way? There are normally a few boats that head into the Indian ocean from Darwin around July.

With your budget limitations, that seems much more safe.

I am keeping all options open at this point.
Both keeping my eyes out for a small blue-water boats such as a pearson triton or a Flicka. Also keeping my eyes open for a yacht owner who would be willing to make a crossing to India and also looking for a crew position all at the same time. I don't see why leaving Darwin in Mid-Nov is dangerous.
Cyclone season in the south indian Ocean is Dec-May and Cyclone season for the north Indian ocean is April-Nov. Leaving darwin before Dec and getting into the north indian ocean by Dec is very ideal. Leaving darwin in April is cyclone season in the south indian ocean and getting to the north indian ocean in mid-april to may is cyclone season in the north indian ocean.
Anyhow if there are any true blue-water ozzie sailors that would like to join forces and start boat hunting and do some overnight sailing please contact me.
