Crew Available: 24yo Capable Hand Ready to Set Sail for Central/South America or Caribbean

Hi Cruisers,

I am a 24 year-old capable sailor based out of Dana Point, CA, and am seeking a mate/deckhand position aboard a ship headed anywhere in Central or South America, or the Caribbean. I have several years of experience sailing on a range of small vessels from 14' lasers to 35' sloops. My bluewater experience is limited, but I am an exceptionally quick learner and a confident and capable hand.

I currently have some time off work, and am planning to travel for 3-5 months before I begin graduate school in fall 2013. I work hard, am sociable and open-minded, and don't smoke - although I enjoy drinking beer every now and then. Some additional pertinent facts are below:

• Available immediately through July 2013.
• Seeking extended voyage, 1-5 months.
• I have a valid U.S. passport.
• Paid position is preferred but negotiable.
• Willing to pay for some travel expense, depending on port locations.
