Yanmar Alternator 12 V 80 Amp

This is an upgrade from the standard 55 Amp Alternator on Yanmar 4JH engine. Remanufactured with receipt. Not one of the cheap China knockoffs you buy for $100 that lasts maybe 12 months while rusting away.
Will ship cheap USA only

Re: Yanmar Alternator 12 V 80 Amp

We have a JH-3 and a 968 ah housebank... Our boat originally came with the 80 Balmar and internal regulator, we never saw more than about 60 amps out of it.

We upgrade to a ElectroMaxx 160 amp Alternator with external regulator and a serpentine belt/pulley kit. The serpentine belt kit does not slip and there is no more fan belt dist in the engine compartment.

Nice unit and good internet/phone support from the company.

I'm doing the 120A alt/belt upgrade for my Perkins from ElectroMaax. People rave about the customer service.

Got a Northern Lights 5 KW genset on board, so difficult to justify $690 for a better alternator than the 80 A
