WTB: Hard 8 foot dinghy

Hey all,

I'm looking to buy a hard dinghy as my new tender. Some of the ones I'm looking for are Fatty Knees, Trinka, Walker Bay, or a Dyer Midget.

I'm only interested in the 8 foot versions and in serviceable condition (don't need to add to my project list ).

I'm located in Mandeville, La but I can drive a bit if it's a good deal. PM or reply here.

Thank you,

You've probably already tried this, but I used Searchtempest to find our 8' Fatty Knees. It's a Craigslist and e-bay aggregator so you can search every Craigslist within a mileage radius that you set.

Good luck.

Awesome advice man! I found a Fatty Knees in Florida and going to pick it up tomorrow.

Nightinggale: thanks, I'm looking to set up my dinghy as a life boat and would need to buy the canopy for that so that's a bit out of my price range. I think its an awesome deal tho. Good luck selling her.

Congratulations! They usually get scooped up right away, so well done on scoring one already.

By the way, we're also planning on using our Fatty as a life boat.
