Whispergen

I have a Diesel 12v Whispergen available. It is extremely efficient for recharging batteries and good on fuel and noise. It can also be hooked into the hot water system on the boat. Please take a look at the pics and let me know if anyone is interested.

Re: Whispergen

So, talk to us about how it's worked out for you and why you're selling it.

Re: Whispergen

Would like to hear why the owner is replacing it with a internal combustion genset. How does it not comply with his needs?

Re: Whispergen

We replaced the Whispergen with a 110v genset so the boat could have A/C. If it were me I would have kept the whispergen because it was quite, fuel efficient, and worked great. However I was not the one making the decisions so we removed it and replaced it with a 7.6kw westebeake which has worked well for us so far except now the owner is complaining about noise.
