For Sale: Westerbeke and V-drive for Sale

I am repowering my Cambria 46 and am selling the Westerbeke W58 diesel and Hurth V-drive. Engine runs and has 3500 hours, V-drive professionally rebuilt in 2009. Included is spare rebuilt starter, Balmar 125 amp alternator new 2010. Will deliver within 75 miles of Stamford, Ct.

Asking $3500, OBO.

I might be interested in the transmission if your interested in selling it seperate. If you are what model is the transmission?

What have you replaced it with?
Ive only just this week purchased a Nanni engine to replace my Perkins 4108 which is the westerbeke etc.
I had a vee drive also to which i am about to change it all to hydraulic propulsion

I am happy to sell them individually. The transmission is a Hurth ASW 630V-20, 12 degree, gear ratios 2.00 and 2.03. Included is a spare shifter box, the one on the transmission new in 2011.

I bought a Beta 60 with a new transmission, identical to the Hurth, now built by ZF. The price on the new transmission was about $3,000, so what would you think would be a good price for the Hurth? Also, where do you live, for delivery purposes?

I'm happy to sell the engine individually. It was rebuilt externally by Hanson in 2009, originally new in 1989. I'm happy to arrange shipping, and what do you think is a fair price just for the engine?

I replaced it with a Beta 60, which is a marinized Kubota tractor engine. I think Nanni also uses a Kubota engine. I'm still putting things together, probably won't get Starlight in the water and fire up the new engine until April.
