pirate WANTED: Signet Smartpak

Hey all,
I am looking for a Signet Smartpak from pre-1990. It is the 3 display one. I just need the unit, not the transducers. These things are hard to find!

Unhappy Sorry

I sold the whole shooting match at the swap meet last year. They were mid 80's.

Yeah I talked to them but they want 600$ for one. Really the only problem with mine is I ripped a wire ribbon off when replacing the seal. They no longer service this unit. 600$ is a little high for me (especially for a 1980's piece of electronics).

You may be able to find someone local with the necessary skill, if not experience with this particular unit or marine electronics in general. If I was in your shoes I'd probably try general TV/electronics repair places and see if they would be willing to work on it - especially if you otherwise have nothing to lose. There's also a number of marine instrument repair places you could probably send it to, but the price is likely going to be relatively high.
