is there a place (american web site or newspaper) where you can find used boat (for me a catamaran) that the boat are sell by the owner and not a broker

because i still don't understand why somedoby will take (i don't know) 10%
of the price for such a little job (like housing broker)
PS:is somedoby know the range of the % tell me !!

Probably the most popular magazine for selling things privately - like cars , motorcycles and boats - in the USA is "Trader Magazine." These magazines are in all convenience stores like 7-11.

There is an on-line version as well. You might try this link.
