The
boat I want will be
cheap because it will need a major
refit. It may be an uncompleted amateur
project but if so should have a fair
hull with not to many lumps & bumps. If the
hull is old and has a lot of rust I will want to strip out the
interior (to get at the rust) so the
interior fit-out is not important. Most important is a good
mast,
rigging and
sails and a good
engine. The
boat will be close to
Sydney NSW or within reasoable sailing distance without too much
work to do to have the boat capable of being sailed.
So, if you have a headache you've been trying to get rid of and you are realistic about
price, give me a call--as an ex-boilrmaker I'm looking for a cost effective way to upgrade from my
Compass 28 to something to
live-aboard and
cruise to foreign
parts.
