Walker Bay 6.5' Hydrocurve Oars and Oar Locks

6.5' wood Walker Bay oars with detachable plastic blades. The cracks you see in the photos aren't in the wood its self, but just in a layer of fiberglass I put on them. They need to be cleaned up a little, patched with some cloth, and painted, but otherwise in good shape.

Located in Miami.
Make me an offer if interested.

Re: Walker Bay 6.5' Hydrocurve Oars and Oar Locks

I know...I know!

I'd just rather see them go to good use, than just toss them. Just because I don't feel like putting in any more time to restore them, doesn't mean that no one else will. Someone is actually interested, but isn't in the area, and doesn't have an address I can ship to. As I said in my other post, I'd probably let them go for a beer...or just cover the shipping. Guess I'm just kind of a greenie.

Warm beer would be an improvement from the PBR someone left behind. Send it over!

I have a dirty, scuffed up 8' Walker Bay dinghy if someone needs a dinghy to go with the oars. Located in southeast Virginia. It doesn't leak.

It might fit on the foredeck. I only ever towed it. I want something a little lighter and a little shorter, so I'm going to build a stitch-and-glue pram.

Re: Walker Bay 6.5' Hydrocurve Oars and Oar Locks

an 8 ft walker bay and the oars fit well on most boats-- i am sure a 23-26 ft boat could have a decent place to use for stashing it-i like mine--easy to row and no one wants to steal it.... so far...
