Two Enkes #26 winches

One is self tailing, the other is not. Reasonable condition and functional. Wear to the drum and selftailer, but gears and bearings in very good shape. So they may be better for somebody that is looking for spare parts. More pictures upon request. Asking $200, you pay for shipping from SF Bay, California.

Re: Two Enkes #26 winches

I can't download 9mb just to find the diameter and height. Could you give those dimension for the self tailer please? What is the maximum line size? Is the price for both, or one? Where are they located - for shipping?

Re: Two Enkes #26 winches

They both have a 6 7/8 inch diameter base. They weigh 14 and 19 lbs respectively. I think they are ideal for somebody that is looking for spare or replacement parts, but they are functional, have been cleaned and re-greased. The self-tailer had a plastic friction disk between the tailing unit and the drum that has been replaced with a rubber spacer and seems to provide the same function. One of the pawl holes on the non-tailer is slightly worn - for long term use I would recommend oversizing and inserting a bronze bushing. $200 for both.
