Trimaran

I am new to the site but am loving the input of experience. I am looking for a trimaran, preferably a 37' Brown Searunner for a liveaboard. I live on St John, USVI. If anyone knows of any for sale in the Caribbean, please let me know. I am a rookie so any far away are just not going to work for me now. I do have experienced sailing friends willing to go only so far.

There's a tri for sale in GCB, in front of the Westin.
Not sure about liveaboardability/price or any other details.

re: Trimaran

One of my clients has a 35 ft Marples Constant Camber trimaran for sale. It located on the Rio Dulce. The design stems from John's co-design of the Searunner 34 with Jim, but with a more refined construction technique. Feel free to contact me at www.seaworthysolutions.net for more info. There are a few pictures there of the custom rudder and trimtab that I built for use with a windvane steering system. You may also want to inquire on the Searunner owners website, Scott

Wow, that boat looks nice, and Culebra is a good starting off point for a cruise, as it is past the thorny path..

re: Trimaran

Thanks all. The one in Culebra has sold already. I was all over that one. The one in GCB I believe is the oned by a guy named Rusty. I have a friend who knows him and gave him my number. I am awaiting his call. He charters it a little and lived aboard quite a few years. Can't wait to see it cause everyone says it's one of the fastest boats around here, winning races a lot, and actually sails to windward. I'll check the others as well. Thanks again
