Tayana 42

We are looking for a Tayana 42 center cockpit here in Southern California. Missed out on a few already. Any help in finding an available sailboat would be appreciated.

Suggest you join the Tayana Owners Group (Google it) and ask there.

Re: Tayana 42

Hello - does it have to be in Southern California? There is a pretty nice one for sail in Anacortes (@ 2 hrs north of Seattle).

Re: Tayana 42

Yes that is a very nice 42. Unfortunately quite a bit above our budget. I suppos I should have mentioned that. We would probably need to find a mid to early 80s so the price would be 140k or less. But thanks for your help Smokey.

There was one exactly like you are talking about named "Joss" on yacht world. The guy was suppose to be sailing it back from Mexico to San Diego in December

Re: Tayana 42

Hang in there. A good Tayana 42 is worth the wait. By the way, Cabrillo Yacht Sales in San Diego is the SoCal importer of Tayanas. If you let Dan Peter (619) 523-1745 (or info@cabrilloyachtsales.com) know you are looking he will keep an eye out for you.
