TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

It's 4 years old and served me well. But now I've taken the mast down and replaced the old wires from an older wind unit and no longer need the wireless.

It's been atop of a 53' mast and works good as long as it's away from cell towers. IAW's, out on the water.
It comes with a soft case, hard cover, two mounting brackets and manuals. Asking $600. PM me or post here.

A quick question.
How far away can the sender (wind vane) be from the display?

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

The manufacturer says 60' but that's pushing it, maybe in perfect conditions like no mast and out at sea. At 53' it does OK as long as it's away from cell towers. When the boat was sitting on the hard along I-5 it would struggle to get connected. But once out in the Sound it did fine.

Hello I am interested in buying the wind equipment you offer. I write from Spain and if conditions are good team and transport price is expensive, we can reach an agreement.

I hope your comments

regards

Hi IAMIRIA,

Sorry for responding so late. I've been at the boat all day. I will send you a private message and we'll see if we can go from there.

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

I'll check on shipping cost with FedEx tomorrow morning. I'm right in the middle of a build project and working 12 hours a day. So please excuse the time delay and it doesn't help that we are so far apart on the globe.

If you need proof that it works, I can do a video, if you like?

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

Hi Del, I would like to receive a video of the operation of the equipment, because as you say your team is 4 years old and logically no manufacturer's warranty, and I need to convince me that is a good operation. A new wind equipment Tactick T101 somewhere in Europe costs 700 Lb (810 €) with 2 years warranty and the difference with $ 600 of your team is is little.

So once you have the video for proper functioning and team final price + the shipping to Spain, I will send you an offer.

best regards

José Luis

Hi José,
I will get shipping costs and do a video today. Then post a link to Youtube tomorrow so you can see it's operation.

Del

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

Hi José,
FedEx tells me it cost US$190 to ship to your location. I would be willing to spit that shipping cost 50/50% with you, if you are still interested.

Here is the video. Just did it this morning. The wife had the camcorder hidden/lost, it took me all day to find it.

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

Hi Del, thank you very much for the video and for the information you sent me.

I have consulted with the customs office in Spain and tell me they would have to pay tax here approximately $ 225. Given this cost, the maximum that I could pay you for the equipment and shipping charges are $ 500. If you have a buyer who can pay what you ask, it is normal that you sell it to him.

Thank you very much for your time.

best regards

José Luis

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

Yeah, it seems everyone wants to reach in the cookie jar as it passes by.
By the time it reaches it's destination it's been emptied out half way.

Thanks for your consideration!

G'day Del, I'm interested in your wind instruments, would you be willing to ship them to Australia?
Kind regards,

Re: TackTick T101 Wireless Wind Instrument

Del,
Can you let me know what the shipping cost might be for Nova Scotia Canada, B0H 1T0. I lost my mast unit and it seems that you are asking less for the complete system then a dealer is charging for the mast unit alone.
