SUNBRELLA 15 yards

Ordered 15 yards of Sunbrella in "GOLD" for a project on a dodger and sailcover.. The "GOLD" is a new color for Sunbrella and Glen Raven..
Came in today and about 15 minutes after the UPS truck left, the customer called and canceled the project.. seems his motor quit and its a priorty..
I'm stuck with the 15 yards.....
My cost was 14.10 per yard........and with shipping it was about 235.00..
I'll sell the 15 yards for 200.00 and I'll pay the shipping in the US..
Thats just over 13. per yard..

Re: SUNBRELLA 15 yards

What width is it? We bought a little of I think the same gold and Ruth made ....

...a bag out of it trimmed with the ocean blue.

I didn't care for the gold on the roll that much, but really liked it once the bag was finished. She has made bags for the dodger, bimini and a lot of other things and the gold one is now my favorite. It can look really classy.

Ruth is sitting here trying to think what she could do with 15 yards. Probably too much for us.

Guys that is a good price and someone should jump on this,

Sum

Jeeze Randy, you don't get a materials deposit when a person places an order for an uncommon fabric? Why should you be stuck if he changes his mind?

Our canvas guy--who is one of the most skillful and yet least costly fabricators in southwest Florida--have a deal as we have an unusual canvas, Blue and White Stripes (my-much-better half likes the "French" look). I buy the material (when it can be found as its now been discontinued) and he makes up the canvas work, or replacements, when necessary. I've got at leat 15 yards of it stashed in our attic for future needs and Ed isn't stuck with inventory he'd likely never need for anyone other than us.

FWIW...
