For Sale: Spinnaker - North Sails

This is a hardly used spinnaker from a Norseman 447. It's roughly 55' tall and 30' wide. Comes in sock! Anyone interested?

Cloth weight, & type? Symmetrical I'm assuming, but, reacher, runner... And life history/usage, including age? Sock/snuffer perhaps? Or a banding tool along with?

PS: I'll give you $1k for the kite, if you'll throw in the boat for $5 (or $5k) - Nice ride. And unless I miss my guess, more precise specs on the kite would likely be about - I: 56'/17.07m & J: 18.90'/5.76m
Or such is the standard rig on such a vessel anyway.

Out of curiosity, why are you looking to find a new home for the kite in question? And also, what's the asking price - with & or without, various possible accessories?

Hey UNCIVILIZED. I checked into this sail further and it's a gennaker. I'm not sure I want to sell it knowing this.

Well, if you do decide that it needs a new home, I'd appreciate knowing as much. In addition to the answers to my other questions, plus; what kind of cut/pattern is it, what wind angles is it optimized for, make & age of the sock, and of course price.

For right now, we're going to keep it and examine it further. We have yet to fly it, so that will be the first step. That wont be happening til June.
