For Sale: Spectra Newport 12V 400GPD Watermaker

We have for sale a 2003 model 12 volt Spectra Newport Watermaker. This model makes 400gpd. Since we are in freshwater and we have only used this watermaker once before, and then pickled it, we consulted a Watermaker expert to advise us as we went thru the needed steps to make sure all was operational as it should be. Thru email and phone consultation, we have determined all systems are operational and that by virtue of age only, the membrane most certainly will need to be replaced which we were advised can be purchased online for about $250. Also thru our testing we found the charcoal filter housing is cracked. For testing, we purchased one thru WaterAnywhere and found it is larger, but the new owner can adapt with additional plumbing fittings to work, or purchase a new one. The one we purchased will be included in this sale. There are only 97 hours on this system and it looks in fantastic condition for its age. We have additional parts that are included and they are:

Spectra Seal and O-ring kit
Spectra Salinity Probe
2-Spectra Cleaning compound
3- Spectra 5 Micron Filters,
2- Spectra 20 Micron Filters
1-Spectra 50 Micron Filter
3 Flow Max Pleated Filter Cartridges for High Flow & Long Life to replace 5 Micron and up Filters

We also found a diversion valve, we do not know if it is new or used, but that will be included as well.

Shipping if necessary will be additional to the purchase price and we have been advised to expect it run between $175-200. We are located on the St John's River in Satsuma, FL about 30 minutes from St Augustine. Within reasonable drive time, we can meet someone to exchange. Its off the wall and ready to go!

I don't usually make too many comments on used units I haven't personally tested. But 4k is a good price for a Spectra 400 in the shape the picture shows. Even if you had to do some minor unexpected work it's a good deal for a Spectra 12V energy recovery system that makes 16.5gph.
