SIGNET SMARTPAK SAILING INSTRUMENTS

I have an OLD C&C 35 Mark II, which has OLD Signet SMARTPAK instruments. I am looking to acquire SIGNET SMARTPAK instruments, dead or alive to keep my old instruments going. Mast head units too. Please contact me with what you might have kicking around. Thanks.

Re: SIGNET SMARTPAK SAILING INSTRUMENTS

I bought the Signet Smartpack equipment new a year ago and I hate them! They are very tedious to set up, and most times when I switch them on all my settings revert to default, and I have to start again.
They would be fine for a computer nerd, but I’m not that.
I also hate the digital wind direction and much prefer an analog dial which points to the wind direction.
I would swap them out for another system of dials.

I agree that the wind instrument "analog" has a lot to be desired as it is SLOW to respond. There should be a setting for storing your last used page on each instrument.......I wish I had some other instruments to trade with you but I am firmly entrenched into the smartpaks and have nothing else......Art.

Re: SIGNET SMARTPAK SAILING INSTRUMENTS

Just let me know what you have, when you have it ready! No hurry, I have an old but working smartpak system now. However, it is always in need of my technical attention so spares are welcomed! I am currently using the SL-60/SL-80 combination. I just pickup up a complete SL-150 system with the MK175 and MK225 boxes. Had to do some repairs but got them to function. Keep me posted! Just waiting for ANY sign of summer coming up here near Lake Ontario!!!
