This is a lightly used Astra IIIB in excellent with whole horizon mirror and zero magnification sight tube in the wood case with original serial numbers and information from Celestaire.

I took the USPS Navigation course, used this to pass the test, took it on a cruise as backup to my GPS (it never left the box) and have recently sold the big boat and have no plans to cruise offshore again so it is for sale.

Original cost $425 and new today at $683 (including sight tube) plus shipping

I have one of these and it is a great sextant. Used it many times and you can adjust it to zero out any errors. Really great piece of equipment.

This looks like the Chinese Astra IIIB and are good value for the money. The one I bought from a member here was a good buy. It came with several text books and sight reduction tables for HO 249. Anyone buying this should have no worries.
