Seatel Coastal 18 antenna

Asking $2000.00 obo. Retails for over $6000.

Like new Seatel Coastal 18 antenna for satellite television on your boat or remote cabin where cable tv is not an option. Purchased in 2008 and used for about one month. Worked great, but then we shipped the yacht to the Caribbean and never had it reprogrammed for that area. (Having too much fun exploring to sit around and watch tv)

All cables and connectors included. Works with standard sat receivers.

Please contact via private message if interested. Will ship anywhere at buyers expense for shipping.

Thanks!

why so cheap? I am interested but do not see how a lightly used $4k retail price goes down to $1k.

We have no use for it. I listed it for sale a couple of months ago for $2000 OBO. No serious inquiries. It is in like new condition, comes with all the cables, connectors and the remote panel (still has the plastic over the face of the panel). We removed it from the hardtop of the boat in August when we installed a new fleet broadband antenna and I took it back to Seattle for storage until it sold. My sister wants it out of her garage, so I'm willing to sell for $1000.00 plus shipping costs. The antenna and accessories weighs around 85 pounds and fits in a 24x24x36 box, so shipping UPS ground should not be too terribly expensive. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing and I can check on shipping costs to your location. Thanks, Deborah

If it helps Cowbuoy, I know Debbie here and I'm sure the offer is legit. Just thought I'd chime in in case a high post count is more convincing to you. It looks like a steal, present retail is about $5500, before taxes. If I hadn't just gotten a KVH Tracvision dish, I'd jump on it. I'm actually tempted to buy it and sell the Tracvision, this is a nice unit...

Re: Seatel Coastal 18 antenna

Debbie, thanks so much for the reply.. I am very interested. Only catch is that I was about to buy a KVH Trac but they said because we are at 47n latitude we would need their 3 or 5 model. If I had assurance that your unit would work at my latitude I will buy it from you and ship it (all the way) from Seattle to here in Newfoundland....let me know what you know regards reception at my latitude...thank you so much...steve
