Seafrost 12" x 12" x 3" Holding Plate

The Sea Frost holding Plate mounts high in the boat's ice box, to maximize air circulation. Taking up less space than 25 lbs of ice, the block utilizes otherwise unusable space. As little as 20 minutes of engine use is enough to create sufficient cold storage to make two trays of ice cubes. The block is ideal for single cabinet applications where ice making and refrigeration is desired. The block is shaped to fit under the counter overhang in a normally unusable section of the cabinet.
  • Expected 30 to 40 minutes total daily running time in proper installations.
  • Ice making with standard aluminum ice trays or while heeling with resealable plastic bags.
  • Opportunity for isolated cold storage zone for pre-frozen foods and for rapid chilling of beverages, etc.
  • Special corrosion resistant cast aluminum with a high conductivity heat path to provide the fastest cooling possible.
  • Piping locations are varied to allow the best possible installations.

  • Dual Plumbing to be run off a DC motor and an Engine Driven Compressor
This plate is use and has NO eutetic solution in it. It was in a Freezer and worked fine but I needed to upsize the plate. One tab is broken off from Homeland Security dropping it. They also bent one end of the copper tubing and thus about 1/2" will need to be trimmed. The fittings that are on there are Swagelok. They can be removed if need be. The tab broken was under the plumbing and not really used anyway. The seal is still intact and has never been opened.

This plate is considered a 12 x 12 x 3" plate but it really is slightly smaller 11.5 x 11.3/4. That is the size of the plate and not including the feet. Each foot sticks our approx 1" beyond the plate border.

Please send me a private message via Cruisers forum for price.
