Sea Anchor for sale.

Complete setup, includes 250' of 1" Double Braid (new) and 50' 1.25 Double Braid Nylon. Like new condition, I am not sure what brand, but I think it is a Shewmon. It has 12 shroud lines, estimated to be 10' diameter and about 16' overall length including shrouds. I can send photographs if interested. $600.

What size boat would that serve?

I do not know much about sea anchors. It was with my boat when I purchased it. The boat is a 36' power catamaran weighing about 15,000 lbs. I am sure it was sized to the boat.

I have an 18' sea anchor for my 47' catamaran. I would think that the 16 would work for 36-44, but you can google sea anchor and the manufactures will give you better specs.

After doing some online reading, I see it strongly recommended to not buy an undersized sea anchor, but instead to get one properly sized for your boat. Seems that sliding backward to fast is bad for the rudder and puts you abeam to the seas a bit, or something like that. If my boat was the right size, I'd be looking at buying your sea anchor.
