used sailrite ultrafeed sewing machine. Used by us while sailing for canvas repair, projects and significant sail repair. Purchase date approximately 2001-2002 exact date unknown. Excellent condition. Everything works like new. Has walking foot, stitch adjustment, zig zag, straight stitch etc. sewing machine is in dry storage. retired from cruising. will sell for $450.

we are currently located in Las Vegas. in about a month we will be heading to Minneapolis (in a 5th wheel RV).
I believe I may be able to arrange reasonable shipping via FedEx ground to the eventual buyer. I am checking this out now and should know today or tomorrow.
also, we have some pics and can send them today or tomorrow if you want. we are out of town for a couple of days so my replies may be slowed.

For those looking for a Sailrite, I suggest you ck out the Reliable 2000U-33 Barracuda Portable Zig-Zag Walking-Foot Sewing Machine at Amazon.com for $499. I am told that it is basically the same machine.

we've got one of those machines here in the shop.. it was brought in to be repaired and had never been used, or used very little..
It started out on the work bench, worked its way to the floor, and is now used as a door stop..After the guy found out what issues it had, He just left it, and has never returned.. The "Want-a-Be" sailrite machine does make a good doorstop....

Whoever told you this hasn't owned both.

There's a reason why Sailrite does so well:

1) they make great modifications to an already good machine, and

2) their support is insanely great.

There have been about a dozen inquiries as to whether or not you have sold this machine yet and there does not appear to be an answer. Please post whether or not the machine is still available. I am looking for a good machine which is not "too used". I have not had much luck finding a used sailrite, so if I don't find one soon, I will have to sell one of my children to buy a new one.
