Am interested, but shipping this will be an issue......
I am in Canada, Sask. postal code is S4X 3W7
I am not trying to insult you, but bearing in mind the probable shipping nightmare, if it was not insane, I would offer you $500. on paypal.
Thanks for not .....hopefully...being insulted.

Re: Sailrite Longarm Sewing Machine

As an editorial note, the above posts remind why I hate selling things. The OP has now stated he will sell for for $700 with shipping. Why is that not good enough?

I sell stuff all the time. I price things low so they'll disappear quickly, but the price is firm. I'll give stuff to the SA before I'll let someone nickle and dime me. I'd put low ballers on my ignore list. Geez.

OP: These are popular items and will likely be sold before the day is out. I'd be more tempted to say $700 plus shipping. Not all potential buyers are Canadian.

Re: Sailrite Longarm Sewing Machine

Hey it doesn't hurt to ask what my budget can afford! I don't mean to lowball... I know the machine and would like to own one again. I am on a cruisers budget. I will talk to my other half & see if we can swing it. So I take it the machine is still available?

Kim;

We will take $700.00 if you handle the shipping. If you have someone near us (Northeast Indiana) we are willing to meet with them to transfer.

It was just sloppy of me. I honestly was referring to the shipping costs. My impression is that shipping isn't calc'd by just distance on US/CAN., which you seem to substantiate:

Two questions occur to me: Why should your location factor into the seller's consideration in any way, shape, or form?

The other is that while I consider both offers above as insulting lowballing, why would my opinion matter to either of you? We all know we can't control, and I doubt we can even influence what others think of us.

Everyone on the planet knows what you both are doing, I am just willing to call it tacky in public.

Buck up folks.

Re: Sailrite Longarm Sewing Machine

Is this machine still available?
Where is it located? Thinking I could just pick it up.
Is it a walking foot?
Does it do zig zag or strait stitch only?

The machine is still available. We are in Northeast Indiana. It has a roller foot and does Zig-Zag. We can arrange to meet somewhere.

Re: Sailrite Longarm Sewing Machine

Larry,
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately my skill level is so low, I cannot do anything without a walking foot.
Thank you.
