Sailomat 601 Windvane

Used Sailomat 601 self-steering windvane. This has had light use and has been mounted on the stern for the last 2 1/2 years. It was painted black by the original purchaser who never installed it. They are normally painted blue on the cast parts. There is some paint chipping and light corrosion on the painted parts (you can see this in the second picture) Has no affect on operation. You can see the write up on how these function and their features at the manufacturers site SAILOMAT 601 - The new Sailomat 601

All the parts that were in the original package are here and all installed with plenty of tef-gel. There is the same model on Ebay right now asking $3,800.

$1,950 plus shipping.

The last two pics are from the Sailomat website. Click on pics for greater detail.

There are a number of models of the 601. Which one is it?

I'm not exactly sure. The model differences are the length of the goes-down tube, I believe. The original purchaser bought it for a 42 foot boat. I had it on a 37 ft boat.
