Raytheon Wheeldrive Autopilot & Radar

Both of these items were working when I removed them from my boat. Hoping somebody trying to get started with limited funds can put them to good use. PM me if you are interested in either unit.

I have a Raytheon ST3000 Wheeldrive Autopilot. Have all the parts including the manual. Unit worked when I removed it from the boat 6 years ago. Free to good person (bad people need not apply); you pay actual shipping. Willing to ship within continental USA.

I have a Raytheon R20 Raster Scan Radar system. Have all the parts including photo copied manual. Unit worked when I removed it from the boat 6 years ago. Free to good person (bad people need not apply); you pay actual shipping. Willing to ship within continental USA.

Thumbs up Re: Raytheon Wheeldrive Autopilot & Radar

Wow,

Good on you. I am not applying for either, just wanted to say thanks on behalf of whoever gets these.

May it come back to you 10 fold.

If it's still a available, I'd be very interested in the autopilot if it would be a fit for my Columbia 34 MKII. I'm in California and sail
out of Monterey Bay.

You are to be commended for your generosity. May you receive good fortune in equal measure.

(sorry if that sounded like a fortune cookie!)

Re: Raytheon Wheeldrive Autopilot & Radar

Hi,
We would love to have both the radar and the auto-pilot if they are still available. We have a 40" lobster boat that we are working to turn into a cruiser as we can afford it. We have the hull partially stripped and this summer have the framing complete for the cabin. Next summer we will have the windows and floors in and hopefully the wiring and insulation. It is a big project but we so want to have it ready to go when Ben retires in three years.
We live in Nova Scotia, Canada and are very nice people and we would be glad to pay the shipping.
It is very kind of you to offer these to someone who may not be able to afford to purchase them and we would take very good care of them - we promise!

Hi
I could use the ST3000 if you still have it, will pay for post.
My wife and I have been married 49 years and are good people.
We Owen a 38 foot Irwin sail boat with no auto polite.
Your unit would be greatly appreciated

Re: Raytheon Wheeldrive Autopilot & Radar

Who knew there were so many good people on this forum in need of an autopilot and / or radar. Anyway, I have PM'd the first two who contacted me, and if for some reason it doesn't work out, I'll go to the next on the list. Thanks for all those who responded; wish I had more to give away; sure beats adding them to the landfill!

Re: Raytheon Wheeldrive Autopilot & Radar

Related, but off topic, there was an article in the paper the other day about generous people paying the layaway/will-call for total strangers. There are nice people in the world!
