Raymarine ST1000+ Tiller Pilot System (optional 5" bracket available)

Raymarine 1000+ Tiller Pilot system for sale. I purchased new and used a few times on my (previous) Bayfield 25'. Did a great job but did not use it much so needs to find a sailor that can put it to work. New boat now with wheel steering so can't use the tiller pilot.

Tiller Pilot package ($250.00) includes:
- ST1000+ Tiller Pilot (excellent like new condition)
- Manuals (2)
- Power cable & connector (48")
- Power bulkhead receptacle (new)
- Tiller mount brass receptacle

Tiller Pilot 5" Bracket & Pin ($30.00) Will sell separately from pilot package, not included in tiller system pricing above.

Add shipping preference freight cost and make payment via Paypal or cash.

Re: Raymarine ST1000+ Tiller Pilot System (optional 5" bracket available)

fkittson,
The bracket comes with the stainless steel threaded pin that attaches to the bracket. The bracket does not come with the brass cup. The brass cup is used as the mount for the tiller pilot, whereas the tiller bracket and pin are mounted on the boat tiller for the autopilot to attached on the rod. The ST1000+ and ST2000+ use the same mounting hardware including pin, extensions, and brackets.

Bracket and Pin sold together for $30.00. The brass cup is sold with the tiller pilot. Also, you can use/make an extension arm or any suitable mounting block and drill the appropriate size hole for the tiller pilot to attach for mounting.

Send me a PM if you are still interested in purchasing the "Bracket and Pin".

Thanks

standard brass flanged bushing will work for the socket, just a few bucks at the hardware store or McMaster

That is an excellent autohelm. I used one for years on a C&C25. Best crew I ever had.

Now I use an ST2000+ on my Pearson 30. It holds a course better than I can.

Re: Raymarine ST1000+ Tiller Pilot System (optional 5" bracket available)

Thanks for replying and it prompted me to research the tech details.
ST 1000 would not be the appropriate model for my 6 ton 30 foot boat.
Good luck.
